<p>The device includes a screw (30) and two nuts (10,20) whose primary (10) and secondary (20) parts are engaged about the screw, with relative movement between the screw and the nut produces this actuation, the secondary nut being disposed for spreading the load of the screw in cases where the primary nut is deficient. There is a third nut having, with the secondary nut, portions (12,22,28) covering each other, and a rupturable pin (40) extending through these covered parts, the third nut (70) connected rotatably to the secondary nut by the pin such that after rupture of the pin, the third nut is freely rotatable head-to-head with the second nut.</p> |
