<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, an image forming method, an image correcting method, an image forming program, and an image correcting program which reduce an inspection image region including a non-discharge detecting image and a dummy jet image. <P>SOLUTION: A test chart 90 is printed outside a printing region, which includes: a K non-discharge detecting pattern image 70 having a K dot 74, a Y+M dot 82, and a C+Y dot 84; and a dummy jet adjusting image 72 consisting of an M dot 78 and a C dot 80 formed of a part of a nozzle 21M and a nozzle 21C which do not discharge ink when forming a K non-discharge detecting pattern image 70. A test chart 91 is printed which includes: a YMC non-discharge detecting pattern image 71 consisting of a process black colored Y+M+C dot 88 and a K dummy jet adjusting image 73 consisting of a K dot 74. Thus, a non-discharge detecting pattern image of each of nozzles 21Y to 21K doubles as a dummy jet pattern image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
