CAPACITIVE POINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact capacitive pointing device which is excellent in operability.

SOLUTION: This capacitive pointing device is configured of: a sensor substrate 11 in which column electrodes X1to X3for detecting an x coordinate and line electrodes Y1to Y3for detecting a y coordinate are independently arrayed; an insulating body 13 arranged on the sensor substrate 11 covering a region 12 where the line electrodes Y1to Y3and the column electrodes X1to X3are arrayed and having an upper face as an operation face 14; and an operation reference 15 formed on the operation face 14 so as to be recognizable with a tactile sense. The region 12 is set larger than the operation reference 15, and the operation reference 15 is positioned at the center of the region 12.
