<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a handrail causes the malfunction of deteriorating beauty because it is difficult to remove water stains fixedly adhering to the handrail during long-term use due to the frequent occurrence of the adhesion of the water stains to the handrail. <P>SOLUTION: This handrail comprises a handrail base material, and a coating portion which is formed on the handrail base material. The coating portion is formed of a resin; the resin has a crosslinked portion; and the crosslinked portion is formed by cross-linking reaction of a cross-linking agent, which contains four or more functional groups forming a crosslink for a monomer unit forming a base compound of the resin, and the monomer unit.
