PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which inexpensively and appropriately carries out both-surfaced printing, and to provide an image formation control method, an image formation control program and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The laser printer 1 stores printing data or drawing data inputted from a host computer Pc in a RAM 26 by making the data correspond to page information capable of specifying pages of the data. When at least either of pages of one surface and the other surface printed to paper of a predetermined sheet number in manual both-surface printing processing is designated at an operation panel 11, the laser printer 1 reads out printing object data or drawing data of the designated page from the RAM 26 and makes a printer engine 4 print the data to one surface and/or both surfaces of the paper.
