<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately detect a trouble of a transceiver by always monitoring operation of the duplex transceiver in an apparatus transmission system configured by a duplex transmission path. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an apparatus having a duplex transmission path, a controller that exchanges information between a transceiver connected to a first transmission path and a transceiver connected to a second transmission path and controls the apparatus is provided. Upon reception, operation condition of the two transceivers is monitored, and when both two transceivers are normal, data received at the preliminarily defined one transceiver are used as a received information. Upon transmission, when the two transceivers are normal, transmission data is separated into two data, and the controller controls each transceiver so that one of the two data is transmitted from the first transceiver and the other is transmitted from the second transceiver simultaneously. The transmission data transmitted from the transceiver are monitored. When a trouble is detected, transmission operation of the transceiver is stopped to carry out transmission of data using only the normal transceiver. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
