<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide melon bread applied with a picture, a design or a pattern. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a first step, cookie dough which becomes the surface of melon bread is prepared by a conventional way for preparing conventional cookie. At this time the dough is brought to be applied with a picture, design or pattern by using powdery cocoa, powdery green tea or the like. The dough is formed by a way for making cookie or forming the dough in a Kintaro candy-like shape and thinly sliced. In a second step, the cookie dough made in the first step is thinly extended, covered with separately made bread dough and enclosed.
