<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the variations of illumination brightness in an image inspecting process. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this image inspection device which illuminates the inspection target 2 placed on a holding stand 1 by an illumination means 4, images the reflected light from the inspection target 2 as a reflected image by an imaging means 6, and processes the taken image by an image processing means 7 to determine the quality thereof, a reflection standard member 3 is installed on the inspection surface of the inspection target 2 or in the vicinity thereof in order to measure and adjust the illumination brightness.
