<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detector capable of performing accurate flaw detection by being arranged in accordance with the shape of an inspection object having a curved surface shape. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an array piezoelectric vibrator 5 formed by arraying a plurality of piezoelectric vibrators 1, and deformable into a curved surface shape; a driving element selection part for selecting a piezoelectric vibrator oscillating an ultrasonic wave from the array piezoelectric vibrator; a signal detection part for transmitting/receiving the ultrasonic wave emitted from the piezoelectric vibrator selected by the driving element selection part, and detecting its electric signal; and a deformation adjustment means (linear actuator 7) for applying a stress to the array piezoelectric vibrator to deform it into a desired curved surface shape. Hereby, the piezoelectric vibrators can be adjusted easily into a shape along the surface shape of the inspection object. Since each piezoelectric vibrator thereby becomes approximately parallel to the test surface of the inspection object, the ultrasonic wave transmitted from the piezoelectric vibrator can enter the test surface of the inspection object approximately vertically.
