<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a pneumatic actuator, and to shorten assembling time of the pneumatic actuator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A ring-shaped groove part 7 having a hooking surface 7b vertical to the axal direction is formed on an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder hole 6 of an actuator body 1. While, a recessed part is arranged on an end surface in the axial direction on the outside of a resin rod cap 9 for blocking up the cylinder hole 6, and an elastically deformable claw part 10 having a planar locking surface 10a continuing in the same plane shape with the end surface in the axial direction on the outside, is integrally arranged in its outer peripheral part. The rod cap 9 is pushed in the cylinder hole 6 while elastically deforming the claw part 10 in the radial direction, and the rod cap 9 is fixed to the cylinder hole 6 by engaging its locking surface 10a along the hooking surface 7b of the groove part 7 of the cylinder hole 6.
