PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured stapler having laborsaving performance. SOLUTION: The stapler has a pedestal, a magazine assembly, a trigger assembly, and a leg flattening means. The trigger assembly has a trigger lever and an extrusion element. The extrusion element is pivotally attached to the trigger lever with a pivot and provided with two extrusion arms which extend toward the pedestal. The leg flattening means is attached to the pedestal and provided with a sliding stand, a moving rest, and an anvil element. The sliding stand is slidably attached to the pedestal and provided with extruded segments which correspond to the extrusion arms and are selectively extruded by the extrusion arms. The moving rest is selectively blocked by the sliding stand so that the moving rest does not move down before the sliding stand slides to the pedestal, and has a long fine hole.
