The cover part (1) has a ventilation and de-ventilation opening e.g. lamella and recess, where the cover part is sectionally extended over an exhaust gas system, such that exhaust gas pipes and a rear muffler of the exhaust system are covered by the cover part. An accessory element i.e. diffuser, improves driving characteristics of a motor vehicle i.e. passenger car (P). A thermal protection unit i.e. thermal protection sheet, coated with aluminum foil is provided at the cover part, where the cover part is attached to a wheel housing shell and/or a wheel housing lining of the motor vehicle.
