The caliper (1) has two housing parts (6, 7) made of lightweight material, and comprising an actuating device for two frictional linings (4, 5). The housing parts are screwed to a central holding part (2), and are connected by bridge part sections (14, 14a, 14b), which partially overlaps a periphery of a braking disk above the frictional linings. The bridge part sections are directly or indirectly screwed to one of the housing parts in a detachable manner. An elastic clamped spring element made of plain sheet material is provided between the sections and the linings.
