PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to improve user convenience by mounting the general liquid detergent container on the washing machine and dispensing the liquid detergent easily using a button. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine comprises a cabinet(111), a detergent container mounting unit(184), and a detergent storage unit(186). The cabinet includes a washing tub therein. The detergent container mounting unit with a detergent inlet is installed on the cabinet to receive a removable detergent container. The detergent storage unit is installed under the detergent container mounting unit to store the liquid detergent flowing down from the detergent container.
