<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the contraction of a dimension of an electrolyte film used for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell caused by contamination due to metal ion. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electrolyte film includes a film-forming step of forming a hydrocarbon system electrolyte film, a metal-ion substitution step of substituting proton of an ion exchange group contained in the hydrocarbon system electrolyte film by a metal ion, and an acid treatment step of substituting the proton with the metal ion by applying acid treatment to the hydrocarbon system electrolyte film passing through the metal-ion substitution step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
