摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of enhancing space use efficiency, and capable of restraining a large quantity of ions from eluting to a cooling medium from respective cell modules, in a fuel cell system having an ion exchange device. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system has a fuel cell having a plurality of laminated cell modules, a pair of plate-like end plates arranged on both ends of a laminated body of the plurality of cell modules, a cooling medium supply manifold for supplying a cooling medium to the respective cell modules and a cooling medium discharge manifold for discharging the cooling medium from the respective cell modules, and an ion exchange device having an end surface abutting on an outside surface of one end plate among the pair of end plates and a cooling medium bypass flow passage having an ion exchanger by connecting the cooling medium supply manifold and the cooling medium discharge manifold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
