<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct good recording by precisely synchronizing a system clock with a light-emission period of a pulsed laser in a recording device of an optical recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The recording device of the optical recording medium includes: a spindle 31 to support an optical recording disk 10; a laser 22 to emit a pulsed laser beam; a light condensing system to condense the pulsed laser beam emitted by the laser 22 on the optical recording disk 10; a beam splitter 23 to branch a portion of the pulsed laser beam; a shutter 25 to on/off the pulsed laser beam by shielding the pulsed laser beam; a first photo-receiver 28 to receive the pulsed laser beam branched with the beam splitter 23; and a controller 100 to control motion of the shutter 25. The controller 100 has a synchronization signal generating circuit 115 to which a detection signal of the first photo-receiver 28 is input and which generates a synchronization signal based on the detection signal, and a shutter driving means 130 to control the motion of the shutter 25 in synchronization with the synchronization signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
