<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a drive device for a vehicle can sufficiently increase torque ratio and change a capacity coefficient to low, of sufficiently increasing power performance of the vehicle, and of generating electric power even if a generator for the vehicle fails. <P>SOLUTION: Since this device is provided with a failure time power generation control means 132 for increasing power generation amount by an electric motor 10 when the generator 52 for the vehicle fails as compared to the time when the generator does not fail, sufficient electric power is secured by the electric motor 10 even if the power generator 52 for the vehicle fails.
