SPRUNG VIBRATION DAMPING CONTROLLER OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively perform sprung vibration damping control by releasing restriction on a motor outputting sprung vibration damping torque.

SOLUTION: This sprung vibration damping controller for controlling a second motor to output the vibration damping torque for suppressing variation of torque of an output member includes: a first motor connected to an internal combustion engine such that an engine speed of the internal combustion engine is varied; the output member composing and outputting torque of the internal combustion engine and torque of the first motor; the second motor selectively adding torque to the output member, and transfers power to/from the first motor; and an electricity storage device selectively transferring power to/from each motor. The sprung vibration damping controller also includes: a restriction release means (step S4) releasing the restriction while an operation state of the internal combustion engine is set differently from when the output of the vibration damping torque by the second motor is restricted; and vibration damping torque instruction means (step S5) causing the second motor to output the vibration damping torque while the restriction is released.
