<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a medical accident in the medication to a patient using a medication device by more effectively utilizing an electronic medical record system. <P>SOLUTION: The medication monitoring apparatus comprises an instruction information input part 57 for inputting instruction information on the medication to the patient stored in the electronic medical record system, an execution information input part 58 for inputting execution information of the medication started with a transfusion pump, and a control part 49 for determining whether the execution information corresponds to the instruction information or not.
