LIGHT-EMITTING BASE DEVICE, PRINT HEAD, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing the flatness of a light-emitting base device used in an LED print head from worsening due to the heating of an electronic component such as a driver.

SOLUTION: The light-emitting base device includes a long, first printed wiring board 24 having a plurality of light-emitting device arrays 4 mounted on its surface in a straight line or in a zigzag formation along its longitudinal direction; a second printed wiring board 25 having mounted on its front and/or back an electronic component 9 which outputs a signal for driving the light-emitting device arrays; and a connecting member for connecting the first printed wiring board to the second printed wiring board in such a manner that the back of the first printed wiring board faces the front of the second printed wiring board. A dummy pattern is formed in an area 29 which the electronic component 9 on the back of the first printed wiring board 24 takes up when seen through the back of the second printed wiring board 25.
