PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer device improved in a strength, corrosion resistance and heat resistance.

SOLUTION: This heat transfer device 10 includes the first protection layer 32 comprising the first metal material, the second protection layer 34 comprising the second metal material, and a heat transfer layer 36 joined between the first metal layer and the second metal layer. The heat transfer layer 36 includes a metal matrix composite material such as a material dispersed with an aluminum oxide reinforcing agent in a copper matrix.
