<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial impedance matching adapter and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The body portion of an impedance adapter and a cap portion are connected with each other, and a printed circuit board 16 is stored in a cavity 7. The printed circuit board 16 has a wire 12 at a first side 14, and has a ground plane at a second side. The wire 12 is connected to a first contact 42 at a first end 4 of the printed circuit board 16, and is connected to a second contact 46, at a second end 6 of the printed circuit board 16, and has a bending path which is larger than the longitudinal axis length of the printed circuit board 16 between the first contact 42 and the second contact 46. The first contact 42 and the second contact 46 are coaxially supported inside an inner conductor hole 50 of the cap portion and the body portion, by a first end insulator 44 and a second end insulator 48. The ground plane is connected to the body portion and the cap portion. The manufacturing method for an adapter includes a step of pre-assembling the printed circuit board 16, the contacts, and the insulators, prior to insertion into the cavity 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
