<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TAB handler having a lot marking function capable of facilitating collation between a reel MAP and a device by marking 'the lot number and characteristic data' on the side of the device mounted on a TCP (Tape Carrier Package) tape by a two dimensional bar code or the like, and tracing a process of an IC after being cut into pieces with the lot number. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this TAB handler, the TCP tape acquired by connecting a plurality of TCPs each of which is formed by sticking a device on a film, and having sprocket holes at equal intervals on both ends of the tape, is allowed to run, and each device is tested by a testing device by being connected to the device in a running route of the TCP tape. The TAB handler is equipped with a marking means for marking device information comprising at least 'the lot number and characteristic data' on a prescribed position of each device on the TCP tape, relative to each device on the TCP tape tested by the testing device, in the running route along which the TCP tape is allowed to run.
