PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardness scale of a living body capable of easily measuring the hardness of the measuring region of the living body with high precision regardless of the hardness of the measuring region. SOLUTION: The hardness scale 1 for the living body for measuring the hardness of the living body by applying pressure to the living body is equipped with an auxiliary part 26 brought into contact with the vicinity of the measuring region of the living body to apply pressure to the vicinity of the measuring region, the contact part 40 brought into contact with the measuring region in a state that the pressure is applied to the vicinity of the measuring region by the auxiliary part 26 to apply pressure to the measuring region, a pressure sensor for measuring the pressure received by the contact part 40 from the measuring region, and the detachable auxiliary part 80 provided to the leading end of the auxiliary part 26 in a detachable manner. The detachable auxiliary part 80 has an area larger than the leading end surface of the auxiliary part 26 and applies pressure to a region larger than the vicinity of the measuring region.
