摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR device of an internal combustion engine capable of inhibiting the generation of a misfire resulted from the responsiveness of the EGR valve in the deceleration operation of the internal combustion engine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The EGR device 40 includes an EGR passage 41 for returning exhaust gas from an exhaust passage 30 to an intake passage 20 of the internal combustion engine 10, the EGR valve 42 provided in the EGR passage 41 and varying an exhaust gas flow area, and a stepping motor 43 driven by electric power supplied from a battery 60 to vary an opening degree of the EGR valve 42. An electronic control unit 70 for controlling the stepping motor 43 includes a voltage detection section 71 detecting a voltage Vb of the battery 60 and a drive frequency set section 72a which sets a drive frequency F of the stepping motor 43 to be high when the voltage Vb of the battery 60 detected by the voltage detection section 71 is high in the deceleration operation of the internal combustion engine 10 so that an open and close speed of the EGR valve 42 is higher in comparison with that in the case that the voltage is low.
