PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve preventing slippage of a spring seat side of a coil spring in an up-and-down and a right-and-left direction. SOLUTION: An inlet 2, a valve chamber 3 and an outlet 4 are formed by a valve casing 1. An annular valve seat 5 is provided between the inlet 2 and the valve chamber 3. A valve element 6 opening and closing the annular valve seat 5 is disposed in the valve chamber 3. A coil spring 19 energizing the valve element 6 to the annular valve seat 5 is provided between the valve element 6 and a spring seat 18 straightly extending in the up-and-down direction. An upper projection part 21 and a lower projection part 22 projecting to the valve element 6 side are provided at an upper part and a lower part of the spring seat 18 to loosely retain an upper part and a lower part of an outer circumference of the coil spring 19. A second upper projection part 23 and a second lower projection part 24 projecting to the valve element 6 side are provided at a lower part of the upper projection part 21 and a upper part of the lower projection part 22 of the spring seat 18 to loosely retain an upper part and a lower part of an inner circumference of the coil spring 19.
