PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard, the lower edge portion of which is constantly placed on the top surface of a beam side end of a scaffold board by changing an mounting angle of the baseboard depending on the widths of gaps, when the different gaps are formed at the beam side end of the scaffold board because the widths of the board differ from one another in accordance with the size of a building frame by making the mounting angle of the baseboard variable. SOLUTION: The baseboard 1 is mounted along the beam side end of the scaffold board 7, on a safety handrail 5 which is installed between opposed pier studs 9 and 9 of the adjacent building frames 12 of the prefabricated scaffolding. The baseboard 1 has a tabular baseboard body 2; baseboard mounting fittings 3 and 4 are pivoted to both upside ends of the baseboard body 2, respectively; both baseboard mounting fittings 3 and 4 are provided with fixing means 6 for fixing the baseboard mounting fittings 3 and 4 to the safety handrail 5, respectively; and an angle attitude holding means 8 for holding the baseboard body 2 in a required angle attitude so that the lower edge portion of the baseboard body 2 can be placed on the top surface of the beam side end of the scaffold board 7 is interposed between each of the baseboard mounting fittings 3 and 4 and the baseboard body 2.
