The method involves transmitting a request (4) to a server (1) for acquisition of a dataset by a terminal (2) e.g. mobile phone. An additional position data (3) is transmitted to the server by the terminal, and an access location is assigned to the dataset. The acquisition of the requested dataset is processed by the server, only when the position data corresponds to the access location. A choice is transmitted to the terminal before acquisition of the dataset by the server, where the choice comprises the available dataset depending on the position data transmitted by the terminal.
