PURPOSE: Ginseng processed food products and a preparation method thereof are provided to coat ginseng with syrup to reduce bitter taste of the ginseng for use as health foods or snacks. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing ginseng processed food products comprises the following steps of: cutting ginseng into proper size; mixing one selected from millet jelly, sugar, honey, and oligosaccharide in water and heating at 140~240°C to make a syrup; boiling down the ginseng with the syrup at 140~170°C until the moisture content in the syrup becomes 10% or less; and adding cooking oil and cooking the ginseng until yellow. |
