<p>An apparatus and method for retrofitting a mobile electronic device, which has an input power receptacle located on a side of the mobile electronic device, to receive power from a power delivery pad that has a flat power delivery surface on which one or more mobile electronic devices can be placed at random locations to receive power provided at the power delivery surface. The apparatus includes a metallic plate bonded to the mobile electronic device, a connector that adjusts up and down and fits into the power receptacle of the mobile device, and a power receiver that magnetically attaches to both the metallic plate and the connector.</p> |
