<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique holding information for restraining a confidential document from being illegally duplicated or the like, or for investigating factors of occurrence of such an illegal duplication. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 1 includes: an operating section 70 with a display screen or operating buttons; an image reading section 30 for reading the image of a document; a security term setting section 112 for setting a security term during which read processing of an image to be performed by the image reading section 30 is permitted but output processing of an image read by the image reading section 30 is not permitted; and a storage section 40 as an example of a history storage section for storing history of operations of the operating section 70 being performed during a term which is set as the security term by the security term setting section 112. In the case where output processing is requested from the operating section 70 during a term that is set as the security term by the security term setting section 112, the storage section 40 stores the images read by the image reading section 30 at least until the security term setting section 112 cancels the security term. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
