<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for an emission control device of an internal combustion engine capable of removing particulate matters adhered to a static mixer. <P>SOLUTION: In an exhaust passage 3 of an internal combustion engine 1, a first emission control device 6, an injection device 7 for injecting a reducing agent, a distributing device 8 for distributing the reducing agent in exhaust gas by colliding the reducing agent at a position which the reducing agent injected from the injection device 7 directly reaches, and a second emission control device 9 are provided in this order.
