<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting component capable of electrically connecting a flat electrode to an electric wire with easy work. <P>SOLUTION: The connecting component 1 electrically connects the flat electrode formed on the outside surface of a window glass 2 to the electric wire 3. The connecting component 1 has a terminal fitting 4, a housing 5, and a connector 6. The terminal fitting 4 is mounted on the electric wire 3. The housing 5 stores the terminal fitting 4. The connector 6 has a clamping member 60 and a conductive member 67. The clamping member 60 is formed of an elastic material, and is mounted on the housing 5 to clamp the window glass 2.
