PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an image processing apparatus for connecting compressed codes outputted from a plurality of means which perform divided image processes at a high speed; an image processing method; a computer program; and an information recording medium.

SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus 1 generates code data by connecting a plurality of compressed codes outputted from one or more threads. The image processing apparatus 1 includes: a compressing means that compresses image data by using the threads corresponding to divided compression processes; an identification information attaching means that attaches identification information to the compressed codes outputted from the threads; and a code data generating means that generates code data including the compressed codes to which the identification information is attached by the identification information attaching means.
