<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a setup support system, and a setup support method which prevent a setup error of a software. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Common software set up on a plurality of devices, the configuration information of the devices with the setup operation of the common software already performed, and the setup result information 115 of the common software to the devices with setup operation already performed are stored in a storage medium 114. An analysis apparatus 122 decides a common software set up on its own apparatus, reads the configuration information corresponding to the common software from the storage media 114, and compares it with the configuration information of own apparatus stored in an own apparatus information table 305 to decide an identical configuration apparatus or a similar configuration apparatus from the devices with the setup operation of the common software already performed. Then, the setup result information of the identical configuration apparatus or the similar configuration apparatus is read out from the storage media 114, and outputted as the success-or-failure information of the common software.
