<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor of work for eliminating the shortage of a capacity of a storage part by selecting desired musical composition data while confirming contents of the musical composition data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An audio apparatus includes: a storage part for storing a plurality of musical component data; an operation part for selecting musical component data that have been reproduced; and a control part 10 for reproducing only a part of each musical component data stored in the storage part, reducing a data volume of the musical component data corresponding to one of musical component data to which selection instruction is inputted by the operation part during the reproduction and musical component data to which the selection instruction is not inputted or erasing musical component data thereof, and storing the reduced musical component data in the storage part.
