PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sthenometer capable of easily measuring the muscle force of a living body with high precision. SOLUTION: The sthenometer is equipped with the attachment brought into contact with the living body and a main body part having the attachment attached thereto and detecting the pressure from the living body through the attachment to measure the muscle force of the living body. The attachment is equipped with the contact part brought into contact with the living body and the rodlike attaching part attached to the main body part, and the main body part is equipped with an insertion hole 11 in which the attaching part is inserted and the pressure sensor 10 provided to the leading end of the insertion hole 11. A protruded taper part is formed to the peripheral surface of the leading end of the attaching part so as to taper off and a recessed taper part 41a, which outwardly expands toward the opening of the insertion hole 11 centering around the center point of the insertion hole 11 is formed to the base of the insertion hole 11.
