<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, capable of easily performing connection or removal of a display panel to and from a circuit board in spite of a configuration in which components are arranged around the display panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The display device comprises a display panel 3; a circuit board 12 having an annularly formed LED mounting area and an opening part formed in an area inside the LED mounting area; and an FPC 13 connecting the display panel 3 to the surface opposite to the surface facing the display panel 3 of the circuit board 12 via the opening part. Accordingly, in this display device, a sufficient work space can be ensured around a connector 15 to which the FPC 13 and the circuit board 12 are connected in spite of the configuration in which components such as LED are arranged in line around the display panel 3, and an operation for connection or removal of the display panel 3 to and from the circuit board 12 can be easily performed.
