<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording head which hardly generates the crack of a recording element substrate even if dropping the ink-jet recording head from a high altitude accidentally. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the ink-jet recording head includes the process for forming at least one void part on the surface to which the recording element substrate of a supporting member is joined, and the process for impregnating the member different from the member which composes the recording element substrate and the supporting member into the void part after forming the void part.
