Provided is a non-aqueous solvent for an electrical storage device containing a fluorinated cyclic saturated hydrocarbon having the structure shown in general formula (1) with one or two substituent groups R on the cyclohexane ring.  In general formula (1), R represents CnX2n+1, n is an integer of value 1 or more, and at least one of the 2n+1 X is F and the other X are F or H.
