<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration measuring system and method capable of detecting a detection target substance within a proper detecting concentration range even if the concentration of the detection target substance is unknown by a simple constitution to measure the concentration of the detection target substance. <P>SOLUTION: The concentration measuring system includes an enzyme sensor 10 having a supply layer L1 receiving the supply of a fluid sample containing the detection target substance, the detection layer L2 arranged adjacent to the supply layer L1, the permeable membrane 400 arranged so as to separate the supply layer L1 and the detection layer L2 and permitting at least the permeation of the detection target substance, the electrode 240 arranged to the detection layer L2 in opposed relation to the permeable membrane 400 or the like, a valve drive device 40 for adjusting the pressure applied to the permeable membrane 400, and a supply side flow rate adjusting valve 42. The concentration of the detection target substance is measured on the basis of the detection result data related to the detection results of the enzyme sensor 10 and the adjusted pressure applied to the permeable membrane 400. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
