<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of emission, in a hybrid vehicle having an engine installed with a control device having a catalyst for exhaust emission control and a motor for outputting traveling power. <P>SOLUTION: When a catalyst warm-up request is performed (step S120), the engine and the motor are controlled such that request torque Tr* requested by a driver is output to a driving axle to perform a travel while the engine is autonomously operated such that the catalyst of the control device is warmed up without being accompanied by driving restriction based on a motor temperature tm to the motor (steps S200-S240, S190).
