<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system preventing chain propagation of a fault caused by a load concentration, and improving reliability. <P>SOLUTION: This communication system includes: gateway devices 1 each having a plurality of transmission ports 14a-14p; and FEPs each having a plurality of reception ports 20a-20q; and is configured such that the transmission ports 14a-14p and the reception ports 20a-20q carry out m-to-n communication, and the communication is necessarily started from the transmission ports 14a-14p. A management table MT for managing the number of connection in the respective reception ports 20a-20q is stored in each of the gateway devices 1. By integrally managing the connection destinations of the respective transmission ports 14a-14n based on the content of the management table MT, loads imposed on the reception ports 20a-20q are uniformized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
