PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of an assistance system by assisting first and second main pumps by a sub pump, and driving the sub pump by an electric motor. SOLUTION: In the controller for the hybrid construction machine equipped with a plurality of main pumps MP1, MP2 of variable displacement types, and a circuit system connected to the plurality of main pumps MP1, MP2 and provided with a plurality of operation valves for controlling actuators, it is equipped with the two-flow type sub pump SP of a variable displacement type provided with two discharge ports, and the electric motor MG rotating the sub pump, and the discharge port of the sub pump is connected to a discharge side of the plurality of main pumps.
