<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for electronic equipment that suppresses the decrease in internal waterproof performance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The inner side of the housing 2 is partitioned with a barrier 214 into a naturally air-cooled storage portion 24 and a forcibly air-cooled storage portion 26. In the naturally air-cooled storage portion 24, equipment is stored which does not require forcible air cooling and satisfies heat dissipation performance by natural air cooling. In the forcibly air-cooled portion 26, a cooling fan unit 100 and equipment which requires forcible air cooling are stored. An air vent 264 is provided at a position of a bottom plate 208, corresponding to the forcibly air-cooled storage portion 26. The cooling fan unit 100 sucks outside air through the air vent 264 and discharges the sucked outside air upward to cool a power unit 112 and a transmission amplifying unit 114. Furthermore, an air vent 268 is provided at a position of a top plate 202, corresponding to the forcibly air-cooled storage portion 26, and the air having risen in temperature on cooling the power unit 112 and transmission amplifying unit 114 is discharged to the outside of the housing 2 via the air vent 268.
