PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device which has a portion to put fingers on during transportation which has a sufficient space to put fingers on but has not so much amount of dent into a housing, and which has improved strength to handle excessive stress. SOLUTION: The handle device 5 comprises a housing mounting member 6 to be engaged with an opening of a rear panel, and a member 7 to put fingers on which is rotatably stored in the housing mounting member 6. The housing mounting member 6 consists of a storage 9 formed by a frame-like flange 8, a semicircular curved rear plate 10, and side plates 11 with a guide groove 12 formed in the inner wall surface. The member 7 to put fingers on consists of a portion 14 to put fingers on in the shape of a flat plate, a plurality of semicircular guide ribs 15 projecting on the portion 14 to put fingers on, and guide pieces 16 projecting on both side faces.
