PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termination tool for a modular jack which can reduce the steps of termination work by making it easy to apply pressure for press-fitting, and by simultaneously press-fitting a plurality of covered cables into crimping slits and terminating them. SOLUTION: The termination tool for a modular jack is provided with a press-fitting portion 50 at one end of a grip 40. A plurality of press-fitting plates 51, each of which is for press-fitting one covered cable 5 into one crimping slit 24a of one terminal plate 24, are set at the grip 40 in the press-fitting portion 50. Each covered cable 5 is placed at the terminal plate 24. Thereafter, each covered cable 5 is press-fitted into the crimping slit 24a and terminated, by worker's gripping the grip 40 and pushing the press-fitting portion 50 into a terminal board 2, by applying pressure in a direction of press-fitting each covered cable 5 into the crimping slit 24a of the terminal plate 24. A termination work can be carried out in a short time and easily, since the required pressure for press-fitting is easy to apply, and a plurality of covered cables 5 are terminated simultaneously.
