PURPOSE: A photographing apparatus capable of displaying a live preview image is provided to photograph an image range including desired image part by performing the photograph with approving whether the image part is wanted or not. CONSTITUTION: The photographing apparatus capable of displaying the live preview image comprises an image capturing unit, memory unit, display unit, and processor. The image capturing unit takes a picture of the image of the subject. The processor performs the image processing for the image taken with the image capturing unit. The processor generates a first image having a first image size and a second image having a second image size. The processor controls the memory unit to memorize the first image and the display unit to display the second image as the live preview image.
