PURPOSE: A shock absorber for a vehicle is provided to change a mounting structure of a valve and configure a rubber boot between a cylinder and a cylinder cover, thereby deleting an oil sealing member. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber(100) for a vehicle comprises a cylinder(10), a valve(20), a rod(50), a cylinder cover(70), and a rubber boot(90). The cylinder is filled with oil. The cylinder is connected to a car shaft. The valve divides the inside of the cylinder into the first and second chambers to form an oil path.
